Replica of the Swiss Learco Guerra - Ursus jersey, worn by Carlo Clerici, who won the 1954 Giro d'Italia, the first non-Italian to win. Produced in cooperation with Learco Guerra, the brand owned by the family of the unforgettable ''human locomotive'', it is made of lightwieght soft Italian wool and acrylic for easy care and perfect for spring and summer use. Hired for the Giro d'Italia in '54 as Koblet's wingman, Carlo Clerici, a 25-year-old Como, just naturalized Swiss, was launched by Learco Guerra on the run in the Naples-L'Aquila stage and found himself in the Maglia Rosa defending it until the final moments at the Vigorelli, supported by Koblet, who came second ahead of the Italians Coppi, Bartali and Magni. The Swiss Learco Guerra Ursus jersey (the team was affiliated in Switzerland) also won the Tour of Romandia and Switzerland two years in a row, and, with Koblet, several classic stage races of the time. • Made of 50% wool 50% acrylic fiber for easier washing, it features the characteristic shirt collar with mother-of-pearl buttons. Five pockets (two front and three rear) and Cornely-type embroidery. Care: hand wash in cold water; do not bleach; do not dryclean; lukewarm ironing; do not dry in the dryer. Key features: Made of soft Italian wool and acrylic for easy of care, typical shirt-neck with mother-of-pearl buttons, five pockets (two on the front, three on the back), Cornely-type embroidered logos, Slim fit, 100% handcrafted in Italy with Italian materials
