Born from a collaborative effort between De Marchi and Pinarello, the 1977 Pinarello Jersey replica celebrates the 45th anniversary of Fausto Bertoglio's Giro d'Italia victory, the first of the Grand Tour for the Treviso-based framebuilder. May 31st will in fact mark not only the arrival of the 103rd Giro Edition but also exactly 45 years from Bertoglio's epic first Pink jersey for which Giovanni Pinarello asked De Marchi to create a special commemorative blue jersey in 1975, the first Pinarello jersey ever. This special reissue is still made on the same old-school machines from 100% superfine Merino, featuring eaxctly the same details as back in the day, including a slimmer, longer fit than modern De Marchi jersey. Sizing up is reccomended. Individually signed and certified for authenticity by Fausto Pinarello and limited to 150 pieces worldwide.
