The 1953 Italian National team jersey is one of the most iconic cycling jersey design ever. Worn by the 7 Italian cyclists who rode at the 1953 World Road Championship in Lugano, Switzerland including Fausto Coppi who won the race, it features unique to this classic include Italian blue background (traditionally adopted on all national team uniforms, regardless of the sport), typical tricolour emblam on the chest in the ''Samniti'' shape, invented by Gabriele D'Annunzio in the twenties, with the addition of ''ITALIA'' in golden letters, for the first time in late 1952. Exclusive re-releases are one-of-a-kind products as they are individually crafted mostly by hand with original machines and traditional techniques. Small imperfections are distinctive signs of authenticity and uniqueness. Photos may slightly differ from the actual product.
